In Super Scribblenauts, the main difference is adjectives. Examples of playgrounds are a desert, a Medieval kingdom, and nothing but grass. Playgrounds are places with themes that you can make whatever you want in. A lot of the levels are helping somebody or some people do something or some things, though there is a wide variety of types.īut before you see any levels, there are playgrounds. You use the objects you make to solve several levels.
Probably 1/3 of the things you can make in Scribblenauts aren’t real. You can even make objects that don’t exist. Anyways, Scribblenauts is a game where you can make any object you want with this green notebook. It’s the sequel to a game called Scribblenauts, but I don’t have that game. The gameplay is questionable, the unlock system is flawed, and while it’s great to play with so many powers, it’s just too bad it wasn’t utilized to it’s full potential.Do you have Super Scribblenauts? Let me say this: It’s awesome. The game tries to simultaneously please Scribblenauts and DC fans, but won’t completely be able to do either one. This is really cool (my personal favorite to play was Batman). However, one cool feature they did add is to play through the origin stories of six different superheroes. Enemies can gang up on you and make it nearly impossible. Some of the control feels limited, like picking which power to use can be difficult. Some of them are way too expensive, and can cost up to 3,000 currency. The majority are unlockable through buying with in-game currency. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone else with this game, so I am unable to unlock these. This is not even mentioning the smaller issues, like how a few of the costumes require you to use Streetpass functionality to find other people who own the game. Most of the gameplay consists of helping civilians to build up currency for unlocking new areas. There are barely any Starites to collect. Unfortunately, the gameplay is what kills the experience. This can be somewhat broken, but it’s still a cool thing to have. There are hundreds of possibilities, and even the ability to add adjectives to other objects. Any costume, any gadget, everything is here. With hundreds of characters included, form the most well-known to the most obscure, any hero you can think of is most likely featured in here. To finally have a licensed property in a Scribblenauts game was a great idea, which, in this case, is DC Comics.
